The KTM X-BOW GT4 is a street legal track day sports car built with the technology and equipment standard in today’s Formula 1 race cars.  The 1500-pound X-BOW has a four-cylinder Audi 2.0 TFSI engine offering 240 horsepower at 5500 rpm and 310 lb-ft of torque at 2000 -5500 rpm.  It’s constructed from Carbon Fiber monocoque with Zylon reinforced side panels and crashbox in sealed finish, aluminum composite racing-underbody with rear diffusor and carbon-kevlar composite front splitter, adjustable racing suspension, racing exhaust, and a limited slip differential.  Buyer can choose between a 6-speed manual transmission or a DSG gearbox.  KTM claims it will do 0-62 in 3.9 seconds and will top out 180 mph.  The X-BOW is perfect for the driver looking forego weighty creature comforts, electronic assists, and seek out the pure minimalist driving experience… in a F1 esq. $55,000 race car, of course.
