2010 Royal Enfield Bullet Classic Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

The Royal Enfield Bullet made its debut in 1932 and has since been the longest running continuous production motorcycle ever to beat the streets. Every detail of the 2010 Royal Enfield Bullet “Classic” holds true to 1950′s Royal Enfield British character but with present day technologies hidden within. The Classic is powered by a Post WWII styled single cylinder fuel injected 500cc unit construction engine that produces 28 hp and 30 lb-ft of torque. Its insignia-crested fuel tank, oval tool box, shapely front and rear mudguards, headlight casing and frame have all been given a traditional ‘classic green’ paint scheme. The seamless exhaust fins, tiger-eyed headlight cap, single-seat spring saddle all conform to the native imagery of Post WWII British motorcycles. Unfortunately, the Bullet’s legendary ‘thump’ can only be heard in India but if one were so inclined, it could be purchased and ‘brought over’.
